Comedian Gary Gulman is heading back to Max with a brand-new special.

Details on Gary Gulman's new special, "Born On Third Base."

Following the critical acclaim of his 2019 special The Great Depresh, Gulman is back with a new hour, Born on Third Base. In the new special, he “offers up his insights on a range of topics — from growing up poor to pretentious suffixes — all with a generous helping of his inventive humor and absurdism. While chronicling his childhood experiences with free school lunch programs and questionable dental care, and experiences with his eccentric Jewish American family, the stand-up makes an incisive swipe or two at billionaire-ism.”

The special is written, performed, and executive produced by Gulman, as well as executive producers Conan O’Brien, Michael Bonfiglio, Brian Stern, Jeff Ross, and J.P. Buck.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the Max team again, along with Conan who I have admired for 30 years, exactly,” said Gulman. “Very honored and grateful and this special is a DOOZY! Can’t wait for people to say nice things about it!”

Nina Rosenstein, HBO’s Executive Vice President, Late Night & Specials Programming, added that they are “thrilled to be able to work with Gary again. His last special, The Great Depresh, was a true classic. He has a gift for taking his personal experiences and turning them into something brilliantly funny and profoundly meaningful. We’re so happy to partner with Conan to spotlight his unique voice once again.”

When does Gary Gulman's special, Born on Third Base, premiere?

The new special is set to premiere this December, however no official date has been revealed yet at time of publication.
